This is the final week of the project, in this week, our group complete the poster of the project and show the poster to the supervisor. There are some advices provided by the supervisor. In the post, there should be less words and some more subtitles. All the explanations of the figure and results should be less in the post. And the type setting should be clearly and all the results should be shown in the post. More information research:
Operation principle
- Solar cells convert sunlight directly into electricity.
- They are made of semiconducting materials similar to those used in computer chips.
- When sunlight is absorbed by these materials, the solar energy knocks electrons loose from their atoms, allowing the electrons to flow through the material to produce electricity
- Solar cells are typically combined into modules that hold about 40 cells;
- These flat-plate PV arrays can be mounted at a fixed angle facing south
- hundreds of arrays can be interconnected to form a single, large PV system.
The benefits of solar electricity
- sunlight is free, so once you've paid for the initial installation your electricity costs will be reduced.
- solar electricity is green, renewables energy and doesn't release any harmful carbon dioxide or other pollutants.
